Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commercial casualty underwriting support in a multi-state environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs underwriting tasks within authority limits, handling new/renewal screening and endorsements.
• Review bind requests for completeness and coordinate with underwriter.
• Convert bind requests into policy typing packets for issuance.
• Manage diaries and follow-ups for account information.
• Rate new and renewal accounts as required and review inspections.
• Serve as first point of contact for agents on policy maintenance items.
• Refer risks beyond delegated authority to the underwriter.
