Tokio Marine America in Jersey City is seeking an Underwriting Analyst – Phase One as part of the Shōrai Program. The role blends creative and analytical thinking with on‑the‑job training from senior underwriters and leaders across the organization.

You will engage with underwriting leadership, support project work, and help develop tools to streamline workflows. The role offers a hybrid schedule with two days in the office and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Requires strong document handling and data management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple underwriting projects.

Responsabilités

• Work directly with Underwriting Leadership, Underwriters and Analysts to understand project objectives.
• Manage assigned projects from concept to final implementation with guidance from unit owners.
• Create and maintain project schedules and specifications.
• Become a user expert on Majesco Policy Decisions, OnBase, TED, Salesforce, and related systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop reports and improve workflows.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements.
