Job summary

Tokio Marine America is seeking an experienced underwriting professional to evaluate and price risk management multi-line accounts in a hybrid work arrangement. You will determine acceptability, propose actions, and support oversight with regulatory compliance and precise documentation.

Requirements include a college degree or equivalent, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Knowledge of MS Office and internal systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of MS Office suite; familiarity with internal underwriting systems is preferred.
• Experience in underwriting or risk management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and price Risk Management Multi Line accounts within designated authority.
• Determine acceptability and recommend underwriting action aligned with goals.
• Develop risk evaluation skills with increasing account complexity.
• Maintain underwriting guidelines, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate account activities across departments and producers.
• Prepare transactions including referrals, quotations, renewals, and filings.
• Ensure file documentation and rating schedules comply with guidelines.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and market intelligence.
• Participate in seminars and webinars relevant to Commercial Insurance.
