Job summary

Accident Fund Insurance Company invites students to join our internship program in Underwriting/Business Development. The internship runs May 24, 2027 through August 6, 2027 and offers exposure to agents, policyholders, and AF Group staff.

You will work across insurance operations and corporate functions and gain hands-on experience in a best-place-to-work culture. Successful candidates are enrolled in a related degree program, maintain a GPA of 3.0+, and can commit to full-time hours during the

Qualifications

• Sophomore, junior or senior status by end of spring term (or grad program).
• Rising freshman in vocational insurance program with some college credits.
• GPA 3.0+ as of latest grading period.
• Ability to work full-time during normal business hours for the summer.
• Availability to begin between late May and mid June.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Business Development, Underwriting, Data Analysis, Loss Control and General Business tasks.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on assigned topics.
• Attend unit, departmental and corporate meetings as needed.
• Demonstrate growth and professionalism in responsibilities.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner.
• Maintain confidentiality and use company software as required.
