AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Line Underwriting Assistant to support the underwriting team. Duties include new business risk analysis, pre-underwriting review, and renewal support, with emphasis on accuracy and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide New Business support including pre-bind risk analysis within authority.
• Support Renewals: pre-underwriting review, quoting, system updates, data collection.
• Handle broker of record processing and endorsement reviews.
• Review cancellations and reinstatements as directed.
• Support endorsements and status inquiries for agents and clients.
• Assist with special projects and task ownership to ensure service standards.
• Provide agency support by answering questions and directing to correct contact.

Job description

Overview

In a support role to the team the Multi-Line Underwriting Assistant responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

• New Business support, such as, pre-bind risk analysis within prescribed authority, reconciliation of binds to ensure all issued.
• Renewal support including pre-underwriting review, quoting, system updates, data collection and any other non-core underwriting type duties as directed.
• Broker of record handling
• Endorsement review and pre-screening as directed
• Cancellation and reinstatement handling as directed.
• Recommendation review and handling.
• Special projects as needed
• Maintains ownership of tasks assigned and provide acceptable service standards when processing and assigning tasks.
• Provide agency support to assigned agents by answering general questions, providing endorsement status, cancellation status, billing inquires, etc. or directs to correct contact.

• Have the knowledge and skills needed to review Workers’ Compensation lines of business.

The expected salary range for this role is $17.00-$26.00/HR. Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
