Job summary

Everest Global Services, Inc. invites students to join the 2027 Underwriter Summer Internship Program. This 10-week hybrid role combines office days with remote work and offers exposure to Property & Casualty underwriting, reinsurance, and hands-on learning under seasoned professionals.

You will rotate in lines of business within Insurance or Reinsurance, supporting underwriting workflows, data analytics, and broker interactions while building professional networks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with data analysis.
• Analytical, organized, and collaborative with good communication.
• Demonstrated leadership or active involvement in clubs/activities.

Responsibilities

• Support underwriting teams in day-to-day processes.
• Meet with brokers as part of the internship.
• Assist in pre-qualifying deals and summarize for submissions.
• Classify submissions for reporting and data analytics.
• Shadow underwriters and assist information gathering.
• Monitor rate change reports and account tracking.
• Participate in leadership-led development workshops and networking events.
