Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, based in Wichita, KS, is seeking an entry-level Assembly Mechanic - Underwing. Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret prints, charts, and procedures.
• Proficient in shop mathematics and using precision measuring tools.
• Ability to train others and support process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, form, and inspect parts from drawings and specifications.
• Use tooling to assemble components into sub-assemblies and end items.
• Verify work per instructions and identify discrepancies.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment related to basic TPM duties.
