Responsibilities

• Build kneel blocking, cradles, shoring, cribbing and other structures to support ships in drydock, marine railway, or shipways.
• Build shoring and staging around ships and maintain overall alignment of ships.
• Prepare ships for launching and perform heavy and structural carpentry work in repair or construction of ships.
