Job summary

Leidos is seeking engineers to support the characterization of undersea naval and multi-domain threats at subsystem and integrated networked combat-system levels. This role also supports maritime finished intelligence products for ONI, merging engineering, all-source intelligence, C4ISR analysis, and threat characterization.

You will develop defensible, sourceable FINTEL and help close the sensor-to-shooter loop by connecting intelligence, engineering analysis, and operational vulnerabilities to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related field with 12+ years’ experience or master’s with 8+ years.
• 4+ years experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Prior experience producing maritime intelligence products.
• Experience with signal processing and/or systems engineering.
• Experience with SIGINT, OSINT, and other all-source intelligence disciplines.
• Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access.

Responsibilities

• Review current intelligence assessments and reconcile source holdings across the undersea domain (IMINT, ELINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, GEOINT, MASINT, OSINT, ACINT).
• Collaborate with engineering SMEs to characterize adversary C4ISR architectures and engagement timelines.
• Translate raw data into operational assessments informing EW/EP and countermeasure development.
• Characterize the full sensor-to-shooter chain from detection to post‑launch support and BDA.
• Assess data-exchange formats, cueing protocols, and cooperative‑engagement logic.
• Develop finished intelligence products consistent with dissemination principles, including SECRET/SCI addenda when needed.
