Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Analysis Solutions Business Area. You will shape maritime threat understanding, support ONI products, and contribute to naval decision-making through multidomain system analysis.

You will characterize C4ISR architectures, translate intelligence into actionable insights, and evaluate network topology while addressing vulnerabilities and countermeasures. This role requires an active TS clearance and a passion for mission-driven work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience, or master's with 6+ years of experience.
• Experience in signal processing and/or systems engineering.
• Experience working with SIGINT, OSINT, and other all-source intelligence.
• Active TS clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.

Responsibilities

• Characterize threat C4ISR architecture from the component level upward, covering node hierarchy, decision timelines, battle management logic, and sensor integration.
• Translate raw intelligence into actionable insights, highlighting decision points, timing constraints, and structural vulnerabilities.
• Evaluate physical and logical network architecture, connectivity, bandwidth, latency, and redundancy/failover design.
• Analyze adversary processes from target detection through track reporting, fire control solution development, and battle damage assessment.
• Assess how threats coordinate across sensors and platforms, including data exchange formats and cueing protocols.
• Examine track accuracy and latency requirements at every handoff point; assess jamming or countermeasures impact on engagement performance.
• Conduct vulnerability research with attack trees and threat scenarios identifying system weaknesses.
