Job summary

Leidos is seeking experienced engineers to apply advanced analysis to maritime intelligence challenges. You will characterize C4ISR architecture, translate intelligence into actionable insights, and evaluate network topology while assessing vulnerabilities across sensor-to-shooter pathways.

You’ll work on multi-domain systems to strengthen national security and support ONI-intelligence products, collaborating with top technical and intelligence professionals in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in signal processing and/or systems engineering.
• Experience working with SIGINT, OSINT, and other all-source intelligence.
• Active TS clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.

Responsibilities

• Characterize threat C4ISR architecture from the component level upward, covering node hierarchy, decision timelines, battle-management logic, sensor integration, and data-fusion requirements.
• Translate raw intelligence into operationally actionable insights, focusing on sensor performance and architectural vulnerabilities.
• Evaluate physical and logical network topology, connectivity pathways, bandwidth, latency, and redundancy.
• Analyze adversary processes from target detection through track reporting, fire-control solution development, and battle-damage assessment.
• Assess cross-platform coordination, data-exchange formats, cueing protocols, and cooperative-engagement logic.
• Examine track accuracy and latency at handoff points, including the impact of jamming or countermeasures on engagement performance.
• Conduct functional decomposition, develop attack trees, construct threat scenarios, and identify system and network vulnerabilities.
