Job summary

Reliance Test & Technology, LLC is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance II at Eglin AFB, FL. The role requires maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, modifying, and installing diverse electronic systems including radar, communications, electro-optical, and test equipment.

Candidates should have a technical or trade school background, two years of electronics experience, and the ability to operate oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other test instruments.

Qualifications

• Must be a technical or service school graduate in electronics.
• Two years' relevant experience as an Electronics Technician.
• Must be advanced with the operation of test instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, frequency measuring equipment, and other related measurement instruments.
• Knowledge of other trades such as mechanical skills for servo systems, pedestal-drive systems, waveguide installations, and optics associated with laser and camera systems is a plus.
• Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, repairs, troubleshoots, modifies, and installs various types of electronic equipment and related devices.
• Applies technical knowledge to determine malfunctions and restore operation.
• Uses test instruments to take readings and evaluate performance.
• Provides orientation, technical guidance, and training to lower-level technicians.
• Work may be reviewed by supervisor for compliance with practices.
