Qualifications

• Experience with electronics and electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Circuit design, schematic creation, PCB layout.
• Microcontrollers, FPGA, embedded computing, firmware development.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and maintain electrical, RF, fiber optic, and/or WiFi based circuits for underwater test vehicles or facilities.
• Collaborate with engineers to evaluate and design solutions.
• Update and maintain test and evaluation systems for reliability.
• Meet with sponsors, faculty and staff to define task scope and schedule.
• Communicate progress to PIs and project managers.
• Identify resources needed to accomplish tasks.
