Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group seeks a Project Engineer to support underground wet utilities projects in the Greater Los Angeles region. The role involves field involvement, coordination with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring on‑time delivery of projects up to $10 million in value.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of field experience with a self-performing contractor, familiarity with water systems, and strong communication skills. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• The role requires 2–4 years of field experience with a self-performing contractor.
• Preference for candidates with domestic water systems experience.
• Experience with pipeline installation methods and waterworks systems.
• Knowledge of traffic control, shoring systems, and trench restoration.
• Proficiency in project documentation, scheduling, change management, and cost tracking.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and daily activities.
• Coordinate field operations including pipeline installation and trench restoration.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, permitting, utility notifications, and daily reports.
• Oversee subcontractors, material orders, and time‑and‑materials tracking.
• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Maintain safety compliance and company procedures.
• Prepare project documentation and professional correspondence.
• Assist in maintaining client relationships and project profitability.
