Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Senior Estimator – Wet Utilities to lead cost estimation for underground water, sewer, and storm drain projects in the Greater Los Angeles area. You will drive estimates from concept through bid submission and handoff, coordinating with operations and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in wet utility estimating, a background in urban street projects, and proficiency with HeavyBid/Hard Dollar, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience estimating wet utility projects (water, sewer, storm drain).
• Strong knowledge of underground utility construction, paving, and concrete work.
• Experience with a self-performing general engineering contractor on at-risk work.
• Experience on urban street projects with utilities and traffic control.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for wet utility projects (water, sewer, storm).
• Develop cost estimates from concept through completion.
• Analyze plans, specs, and requirements to determine scope and cost.
• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals for accuracy.
• Incorporate field input and data to refine estimates.
• Support operations with change order pricing and value engineering.
• Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, project partners.
• Ensure estimates comply with company standards.
