Job summary

DCS Contracting, Inc. is seeking an Underground Wet Utilities Leadman to supervise underground crews across multiple Greater Phoenix Valley sites. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity while preparing candidates for future Foreman responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 5+ years of underground utility construction experience.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or mentoring role preferred.
• Familiarity with MAG specifications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Underground Foreman in overseeing daily operations and safety compliance.
• Provide direction to crew to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform site walkthroughs to verify materials and equipment usage.
• Coordinate with Foreman to resolve on-site issues and maintain schedules.
• Track daily work quantities and prepare reports as needed.
• Support in Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and Toolbox Talks.
• Mentor crew members and help develop future Foremen.
