Job summary

DCS Contracting, Inc. in the Greater Phoenix area is seeking a full-time Underground Foreman to lead our underground installations of water lines, sewer lines, and storm drains.

The ideal candidate will supervise crews, schedule work, ensure safety, and deliver quality results on schedule. You will collaborate with PM/PE and Superintendents, perform site walkthroughs, manage materials, and coordinate with multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 5 years of related underground utility construction and installation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the project/work site, ensuring safety standards are followed and quality work is being performed in a timely manner.
• Determines project requirements and procedures, and the required materials and workers, based on given project specifications.
• Performs daily walkthroughs to confirm availability and use of proper materials and tools; addresses issues to keep the project on schedule.
• Resolves problems and coordinates activities with other management or contractors to keep work flowing smoothly.
• Conducts audits and quality assurance tests of work and safety matters.
• Oversees budgets and schedules for projects.
