Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking energetic field technicians to locate underground utilities across our service area. This full-time role involves outdoor work, using company-provided vehicles and equipment, and documenting each locate with photos and notes.

You will join a safety-focused team, with training provided and opportunities for advancement as you gain experience in locating a variety of utilities.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Able to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently.
• Mark locations and complete required documentation and photography.
• Work daytime, full-time with possible overtime and on-call shifts.
