Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is hiring a Locator to mark underground utilities with flags and paint, ensuring safe and efficient projects. You will read maps, document locates, and communicate with excavation teams.

The role requires being 18+, US work authorization, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license; overtime and travel may be required. Weekly pay, PTO, 401(k) match, and other benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Valid State driver's license with clean driving record.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.

Responsibilities

• Operate detection equipment to locate and mark underground utilities, with guidance from experienced Locators.
• Read utility maps to correctly locate underground utilities.
• Document all locates.
• Respond promptly to excavation notices.
• Communicate well with excavators, utility representatives, and company staff.
• Dig lightly with a shovel when necessary.
• Work overtime, travel, and be on-call/after-hours as needed.
