Job summary

ITG Communications, LLC is seeking a Safety-conscious Utility Locator to identify underground utilities and support safe excavation. You will read maps, use locating equipment, and mark locations for crews while documenting all activities.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. You’ll collaborate with contractors and field teams, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with OSHA and One-Call regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform underground facility locates per standards.
• Read maps, prints, GIS records, and work orders to determine utility paths.
• Use locating tools to mark underground utilities accurately.
• Document field activities with sketches, notes, photos, and GPS data.
• Respond to routine tickets and emergency locate requests.
• Maintain equipment, PPE, and vehicles in safe condition.
• Comply with OSHA, 811 regulations, and One-Call rules.
• Report mismarks or safety hazards immediately.
