Job summary

Texstar Enterprises LLC is seeking a Locator to mark underground utilities with flags and paint, helping keep projects safe and efficient in the field.

You’ll operate detection equipment, read maps, document locates, and communicate with excavators and staff. This role may require overtime, travel, and after-hours work, in all weather conditions. Competitive benefits and weekly pay are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience required.
• Authorization to work in the United States for the company.
• Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate detection equipment to locate and mark utilities.
• Read maps to locate underground utilities correctly.
• Document all locates accurately.
• Respond promptly to excavation notices.
• Communicate well with excavators and utility reps.
• Dig lightly with a shovel when necessary.
• Work overtime, travel, and on-call as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
