Job summary

GridHawk LLC is seeking a Locate Technician to accurately locate and document underground utilities on diverse job sites. You will work on road and field assignments, using transmitters and maps to verify assets while following safety protocols.

Responsibilities include routine locates, on-call duties, and communicating with customers and team members to ensure efficient service. A valid driver’s license and DOT readiness are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to problem solve and read prints.
• Experience with utility locating preferred.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground facilities using transmitter and connections to buried assets.
• Work in varied terrains and weather, in road/construction environments.
• Interpret job orders, blueprints, and maps to route and perform duties.
• Perform locates and emergency locates; communicate with customers and team.
• Maintain safety and damage-free environment; interact with management and customers.
