Job summary

GridHawk LLC is seeking a Locate Technician to accurately locate underground utilities including telephone, electric, gas, fiber, water, and sewer lines. You will observe, mark, and document locations, verifying accuracy while working independently or in a team.

A valid state driver’s license and a High School Diploma or GED are required, as well as the ability to read and interpret prints. A DOT drug test and background check are mandatory, with company-provided tools and vehicles for all

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• State issued driver's license required.
• Ability to read, interpret, and decipher prints and maps.
• Pass a Background screening and DOT drug test.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground facilities using transmitter and probes.
• Work in diverse terrains and weather conditions.
• Interpret job orders, blueprints, and maps to plan routes.
• Perform locates during regular and on-call hours to meet customer needs.
• Communicate with customers, coworkers and third parties to ensure accuracy and safety.
