Job summary

GridHawk LLC is seeking Locate Technicians to accurately locate underground facilities and document locations using transmitters, maps and blueprints. You may work independently or in a team, under supervision, on roads, residential, commercial and rural sites in all weather.

This full-time role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and passing a background check and a DOT drug test. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must pass a background check with no violations in the last 5 years.
• Must pass a DOT drug test.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and walk/stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground facilities using transmitters and assess buried assets.
• Work on varied terrains in construction zones including residential, commercial, industrial and rural areas in all weather.
• Interpret job orders, blueprints and maps to route and perform duties efficiently.
• Perform locates and on-call locates during regular and overtime hours to meet customer needs.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, coworkers and third parties to ensure a damage-free environment.
