Job summary

USIC is seeking field locators to identify and mark underground utilities in assigned areas, using a company vehicle and equipment. You will help protect critical infrastructure while gaining hands-on training and opportunities for advancement. This is a full-time outdoor role with overtime, weekend, and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and walk in confined spaces.
• Good communication with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities accurately in designated areas and mark locations.
• Complete required documentation and photograph each locate.
• Work daytime, full-time with potential overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Serve as a safety-conscious representative on job sites.
