Job summary

USIC seeks outdoor-focused locators for field work using company vehicles and advanced tools. You will locate utilities, document findings, and photograph each locate.

We offer 100% paid training, a company vehicle and fuel card, DailyPay, comprehensive insurance, 401(k) with match, PTO, and on-call weekend pay. This daytime, full-time role requires overtime and occasional nights or weekends. No prior locating experience is required but encouraged.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently (telecommunications, electric, gas, water, sewer).
• Mark locations accurately, complete documentation, and photograph each locate.
