You will use tickets, maps, and field tools to locate utilities, document findings, and communicate clearly with crews and homeowners. No prior locating experience is required, but problem-solvers who thrive in a fast-paced environment are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology and field tools.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Able to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to distinguish between colors used to identify wiring.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities and mark locations safely and efficiently.
• Review tickets, maps and prints to identify utilities.
• Photograph and document each locate.
• Work daytime, full-time with potential overtime, weekends and on-call shifts.
• Operate company vehicle and field equipment as needed.
