Job summary

USIC is seeking a field Locator to locate underground utilities in the Winterset, IA area. You’ll work with a company-provided vehicle, perform mark-outs, document findings, and photograph sites.

This is a daytime, full-time position with training provided. No prior locating experience is required, but safety-minded problem solvers who can lift up to 75 lbs, work outdoors in all weather, and be comfortable with on-call shifts will thrive.

Qualifications

• Outdoor work experience preferred.
• Must pass drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and on-call shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and accurately.
• Mark locations on-site and document findings.
• Photograph locate sites as required.
• Work daytime, full-time with potential overtime/weekends.
