Job summary

USIC, America's leader in underground utility damage prevention, is hiring field Locator positions. You will locate utilities, mark locations, and document findings using company-provided vehicle and tools.

This role requires outdoor work in varying weather, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and a safety-first mindset. Training is provided, with opportunities for overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts. Valid driver's license and pass a drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
• Willing to pass a drug screen and work overtime, weekends, and on-call.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps, and prints.
• Effective communication with team, customers, contractors, homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities accurately in designated areas.
• Mark locations and complete required documentation and photos.
• Work daytime shifts with potential overtime and on-call nights.
• Operate company-provided vehicle and equipment.
• Collaborate with excavators, property owners.
