Stake Center Locating is hiring entry level Locate Technicians to locate underground utilities, troubleshoot, and mark the ground with paint and flags. We train you on the job and provide a 100% paid training program.

The role involves outdoor work in all weather and requires independent problem solving with speed and accuracy. Pay is 2350 per hour with benefits including PTO, holidays, safety shoe vouchers, a 401k match, and a company vehicle with a fuel card.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day, 2-3 times a week.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs with or without aids; occasional 75+ lbs with tool aids.
• Pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Train as an entry level Locating Technician with safety-first mindset.
• Use a laptop to receive, process tickets, and email.
• Read maps, interpret blueprints, and plan locating sequence.
• Use locate equipment to accurately locate underground utilities.
• Communicate effectively with peers, managers, and homeowners.
