Job summary

Stake Center Locating is hiring entry level Locate Technicians to locate underground utilities, troubleshoot, and mark the ground. We train you on the job and provide 100% paid training to help you succeed as part of our team.

Applicants should enjoy outdoor work in all weather, work independently, and solve problems quickly and accurately. Benefits include pay at $21.00 per hour, PTO, paid holidays, a company vehicle with a fuel card, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day 2-3 times a week.
• Ability to carry up to 5 lbs of locating equipment and lift up to 25 lbs with aids.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities using provided equipment.
• Read maps and interpret blueprints to determine locating method.
• Document and process tickets and emails.
• Communicate effectively with peers, managers, and homeowners.
