Stake Center Locating, Inc. is hiring entry level Locate Technicians to locate underground utilities, troubleshoot, and mark the ground using paint and flags. We will train you on the job with 100% paid training and provide the basic skills for success.

Ideal candidates enjoy outdoor work in all weather, prefer independent work, and can problem solve quickly and accurately while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Train entry level Locate Technicians to think Safety First.
• Use a laptop to receive, document and process tickets and email.
• Read maps, interpret blueprints, and determine best locating method and sequence.
• Use locate equipment to accurately locate underground utilities.
• Communicate effectively with peers, managers, and homeowners.
