Job summary

Traffic Management Solutions is seeking a hardworking Underground Crew Laborer for a full-time position in Bradenton, FL. You will support foremen, crew leaders, and equipment operators with installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utilities and related systems.

The role emphasizes outdoor work in varying weather conditions, strong stamina, and strict adherence to OSHA safety standards. Prior trenching/underground utility experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of underground utility construction, trenching or related work preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry 50+ lbs, and perform manual labor.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Excavation and trenching around utilities to prevent damage.
• Lay, join, and connect pipes and install underground conduits for fiber optics or electrical lines.
• Prepare sites, load and unload materials, backfill trenches and restore worksites.
• Operate hand and power tools such as jackhammers, compactors and air compressors; assist operators.
• Identify hazards and strictly follow OSHA safety protocols.
