Job summary

R.E. Beckner Construction, Inc. is seeking a qualified Utility Foreman to lead a 5–7 person crew on central west Florida projects. The role requires experience in storm, water, and sewer systems and strong ability to read blueprints, coordinate daily logs, and ensure safety compliance.

Offices are based in Pinellas and Citrus Counties, with a focus on meeting production goals and client schedules. Competitive pay based on experience and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in storm, water, and sewer
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Utility Foreman
• Capable of reading blueprints
• Have experience in all aspects of site development
• Be able to track and maintain all daily logs and job progress
• Coordinate and supervise a crew of 5-7 members
• Performs physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and whole body
• Have strong leadership and coordination skills

Responsibilities

• Accountable for following project plans and schedules, ensuring the crew performs activities to meet production goals and client schedules
• Utilize heavy equipment to excavate, install and backfill underground pipe
• Responsible for completing and submitting all required documents in a timely manner including but not limited to timesheets, daily project log sheets, equipment condition reports, repair logs, receipts, purchase orders, tool box talks, etc.
• Communicate both verbally and in written form with management and other employees
• Adhere to all OSHA and FDOT safety procedures and standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
