Job summary

R.E. Beckner Construction Inc. is seeking an experienced Utility Foreman + Crew to manage field crews on site development projects across central west Florida.

The role requires supervising 5-7 crew members, reading blueprints, following project plans, and ensuring safety and productivity on job sites. The position offers full-time employment with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in storm, water, and sewer.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Utility Foreman.
• Capable of reading blueprints.
• Have experience in all aspects of site development.
• Be able to track and maintain all daily logs and job progress.
• Coordinate and supervise a crew of 5-7 members.
• Performs physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and whole body.
• Have strong leadership and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

R.E. Beckner Construction Inc., a 4th generation Site Development Contractor, is looking for an experienced, professional Utility Foreman + Crew to join our team.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Accountable for following project plans and schedules, ensuring the crew performs activities to meet production goals and client schedules
• Utilize heavy equipment to excavate, install and backfill underground pipe
• Responsible for completing and submitting all required documents in a timely manner including but not limited to timesheets, daily project log sheets, equipment condition reports, repair logs, receipts, purchase orders, tool box talks, etc.
• Communicate both verbally and in written form with management and other employees
• Adhere to all OSHA and FDOT safety procedures and standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Must have experience in storm, water, and sewer
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Utility Foreman
• Capable of reading blueprints
• Have experience in all aspects of site development
• Be able to track and maintain all daily logs and job progress
• Coordinate and supervise a crew of 5-7 members
• Performs physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and whole body such as reaching above shoulder, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, handling of materials, and driving.
• Have strong leadership and coordination skills
