Qualifications

• Must be willing to learn to operate and tram underground diesel-powered equipment.
• Must complete risk assessment and workplace examination.
• Experience or training in scaling using high reach manlift or mechanical scaler.
• Ability to operate service equipment safely around others during construction tasks.
• Support maintenance and electrical personnel as required.
• Follow all safety rules, regulations, and Graymont standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground diesel-powered equipment and perform pre-operation checks.
• Conduct risk assessments and workplace exams before starting work.
• Perform scaling with high reach manlift or mechanical scaler.
• Operate service equipment (loaders, backhoes, trucks) safely around coworkers.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and other assigned tasks.
• Adhere to all company, state, and federal safety regulations.
