Job summary

Infinity Contractors is seeking a skilled Site Superintendent in the Charlotte, NC area to lead daily field operations, manage crews and subcontractors, and ensure project safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

You will collaborate with the Project Manager on startup, budgeting, and look-ahead planning while maintaining accurate field records and fostering a culture of safety and accountability across teams.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Proven experience in construction project management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction site operations and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
• Familiarity with construction estimating practices and tools.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills for collaboration across teams.
• A degree in Construction Management or a related field is an asset but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for project startup with the Project Manager and lead day-to-day field operations.
• Understand and apply quality control procedures per project documents.
• Verify field layout and maintain current as-builts.
• Enforce safety requirements and lead safety permit processes.
• Familiarize with job cost estimates and manage within budget.
• Inform PM of deviations in activity or cost before additional time/cost.
• Provide input on scheduling and crew deployment; review progress daily.
• Prepare and file daily job reports; ensure timely delivery of materials/equipment.
• Train field staff and promote project morale; conduct performance evaluations.
• Manage site inventories for materials, tools, and equipment.
