Job summary

Infinity Contractors is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee underground conduit projects across the Carolinas and beyond. The role involves coordinating with the Project Manager, enforcing safety standards, managing crews, reviewing drawings, and ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget.

The position requires 5–7 years in construction with leadership experience, OSHA-focused safety practices, and willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years of construction experience with progressive field leadership.
• Minimum 2–3 years as a Superintendent or similar role.
• Underground utility, electrical distribution, civil construction, or infrastructure experience preferred.
• Experience managing multiple crews, foremen, subcontractors, and projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for project startup with the Project Manager and execute activities to meet objectives.
• Apply quality control procedures and maintain as-builts; ensure safety permits are in place.
• Enforce safety requirements; lead daily safety documentation and permits.
• Understand job cost estimates and work within budget and scope.
• Plan and review production schedules; supervise crews and lookahead work plans.
• Keep PM informed of changes in activity or cost; deliver daily reports.
• Ensure timely on-site delivery of materials and equipment and staff development.
