Job summary

EMERY SAPP & SONS is seeking an experienced Utility Laborer for our underground utility construction team in Wisconsin. The role involves installing water, sewer, and storm drainage systems, trenching, and setting pipe to grade in accordance with project specifications.

You will assist with loading materials, digging trenches, and using hand and power tools while maintaining safety and quality on site. Collaboration with site supervisors is essential for project success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in construction or related industry preferred.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and working in all weather conditions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install underground water, sewer, and storm drain pipe in accordance with project specifications and grade requirements.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials, digging trenches, and operating hand and power tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow safety protocols.
• Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure project success.
