Job summary

emerysapp is seeking an experienced Utility Laborer to join our underground utility construction team in Missouri. The role focuses on installing water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage systems on heavy civil projects, including trenching, setting pipe to grade, and safe underground work.

You will work with site crews in all weather, follow safety protocols, and help with loading materials, operating tools, and maintaining a clean jobsite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in construction or related industry preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in all weather.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Install underground water, sewer, and storm drainpipe in accordance with project specifications and grade requirements
• Assist with general construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, digging trenches, and operating hand and power tools
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to ensure project success
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in construction practices
• Other duties as assigned
