Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure is seeking workers to support underground utility projects in residential and commercial areas. Pay rate ranges from $26.00 to $33.00 per hour, non-exempt status, with opportunities to contribute to construction, maintenance, and site safety. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent desired.
• CDL A license required for this position.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Must pass criminal and MVR background checks and pre-employment drug screen.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid driver’s license within two weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew leader in construction/reconstruction and maintenance work.
• Assist equipment operators, swamping, hand digging, locating underground obstructions.
• Work with jackhammers, rotary drills, power actuated fasteners and other tools.
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
• Work safely around backhoes, excavators, trenchers and dump trucks.
• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards.
