Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure is seeking a hands-on crew member for underground utility construction in Colorado. You will support the crew leader, operate with various tools, and help ensure safe, efficient daily tasks. A CDL A is required and you must pass background checks and a drug screen.

Pay rate ranges from $26.00 to $33.00 per hour, non-exempt, with opportunities to grow skills across electrical, natural gas, and telecom infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent desired.
• CDL A required for this position.
• Experience working with underground utilities desired.
• Possession of or ability to obtain CDL A within two weeks of employment.
• Candidates must pass criminal and MVR background checks and a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew leader in construction/reconstruction and maintenance work.
• Assist equipment operators, swamping, hand digging, locating underground obstructions.
• Work with jackhammers, rotary drills, power actuated fasteners and other tools.
• Signal equipment operators to align, move, and adjust machinery and materials.
• Work safely around backhoes, excavators, trenchers and dump trucks.
• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards.
