Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure, an integrated engineering and construction company serving electric, natural gas, and telecommunications sectors, seeks a construction crew member to perform underground utility work in residential and commercial areas.

You will assist the crew leader, operate with jackhammers, rotary drills, and other tools, and help prepare sites for safe execution. Must pass background checks and have a valid driver's license; CDL A and bilingual English/Spanish are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent desired.
• CDL A is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Possession of, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew leader in construction/ reconstruction and maintenance work
• Assist equipment operators, swamping, hand digging, locating underground obstructions
• Work with specialized equipment including jackhammers, rotary drills, power actuated fasteners and other necessary tools
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials
• Work safely around backhoes, excavators, trenchers and dump truck
• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
