Job summary

Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. in Muskogee, OK, seeks an experienced Utility Foreman to lead a crew performing underground wet utility installation, including water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer.

You will read plans, coordinate trenching, pipe installation, backfilling, and testing to ensure production, safety, and quality. You will work with project managers to keep projects on schedule and within budget, train crew on safety, manage resources, and enforce compliance with excavation and utility

Qualifications

• 5+ years of underground wet utility construction experience, including water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer installation.
• Previous supervision experience as Foreman, Leadman, or similar role.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities; ability to motivate a crew.
• Experience with government contracts and regulatory compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crews performing underground wet utility installation.
• Read and interpret utility plans, specs, grades, and layouts for proper installation.
• Coordinate trenching, pipe installation, backfilling, testing, and tie-ins while maintaining safety and quality.
• Ensure compliance with excavation and safety requirements.
• Communicate with project managers and stakeholders to meet schedules and budgets.
• Train crew members on safety procedures and best practices.
• Manage resources, materials, and equipment to optimize usage.
• Identify issues and resolve on-site during construction.
• Other duties as assigned.
