Job summary

emerysapp is seeking an experienced Utility Foreman to lead a crew on underground wet utility installation and maintenance projects. The role requires strong leadership, safety focus, and a hands-on approach, with travel to job sites in and around Broken Arrow, OK.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in heavy civil underground utilities, good communication, and the ability to manage schedules, budgets, and resources effectively. A high school diploma and leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• 5+ years of heavy civil underground utility construction experience.
• Experience in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical skills for data-driven decisions.
• Experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to project sites around Broken Arrow, OK.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a crew of construction workers, including scheduling and task assignment.
• Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utilities.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality.
• Ensure crew compliance with laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Communicate with project managers and stakeholders to keep on schedule and budget.
• Develop and maintain relationships with crew and subcontractors on schedules.
• Train crew on safety procedures and best practices.
• Manage project resources (materials, equipment) for efficiency.
• Identify and resolve issues during construction projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
