Qualifications

• Minimum two years as a pipelayer/top man installing underground utilities.
• Experience installing water, sewer, storm drainage, and utility conduit systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong understanding of utility grades, elevations, and underground construction methods.
• Experience working safely around heavy equipment and active construction operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews installing water mains and services and sewer systems.
• Plan daily work and coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Read plans and verify pipe grades and elevations.
• Use lasers and levels to ensure accurate installations.
• Mentor crew members and maintain safety and quality on site.
