The ideal candidate has proven experience in utility work, reads site plans, respects safety standards, and can work well in a team. OSHA 10/30 is a plus; valid certifications and reliable work ethic are valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating excavators on utility projects.
• Familiarity with underground conduit installation and trenching.
• Ability to read site plans and follow specifications.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces such as manholes.
• Safety-focused with reliable teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and loaders for trenching and conduit installation.
• Dig trenches to required depths and grades with precision.
• Install underground conduit in coordination with utility plans.
• Safely enter and work within manholes when required.
• Load and move materials around the job site.
• Ensure job site safety and compliance with OSHA standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Assist with general labor and site clean-up as needed.
