Job summary

Carolinaconduit is seeking a dependable General Construction Worker to install underground conduit systems for electric utility projects. You will work outdoors in varied conditions, perform trenching, digging, and material handling, and collaborate closely with a crew to stay on schedule and maintain safety.

Ideal candidates are reliable, punctual, physically fit, and capable of using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

Experience in underground utility installation is a plus; training provided.
Able to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varied weather.
Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

Install underground conduit systems for electrical infrastructure in accordance with company and industry standards.
Perform work in and out of ditches, including trenching and backfilling as needed.
Engage in manual labor such as digging, shoveling, and lifting heavy materials (up to 65 lbs.).
Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks.
Always ensure job site cleanliness and safety.
Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and goals.
Operate and maintain company tools and equipment responsibly.
Occasionally drive company vehicles to and from job sites (valid driver’s license required).
Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
