Carolina Conduit System is seeking a dependable General Construction Worker to join our field crews for underground conduit installations on electric utility projects. This role involves physically demanding outdoor work and collaboration with teammates to complete projects safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is motivated, safety‑minded, and capable of lifting up to 65 lbs while using hand and power tools. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground utility installation is a plus (training provided).
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Install underground conduit systems for electrical infrastructure and follow standards.
• Perform trenching, backfilling, and other underground utility tasks.
• Engage in manual labor such as digging, shoveling, and lifting up to 65 lbs.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site at all times.
• Collaborate with crew and supervisors to meet deadlines.
• Occasionally drive company vehicles to and from job sites with a valid license.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
