Job summary

PURIS Corporation, LLC is seeking a General Operator to safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment on open cut construction projects in Houston, TX. You will support crew activities to ensure installation, maintenance, and repair of underground utility systems while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires experience with excavators, loaders, backhoes, and skid steers, plus familiarity with trench box systems and daily equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Requires experience operating excavators, loaders, backhoes and skid steers.
• Experience with trench box systems is required.
• Ability to work around underground utilities and active construction operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate excavators, loaders, backhoes, skid steers and other equipment.
• Perform excavation, trenching, backfilling, grading, and material handling per project requirements.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance tasks such as greasing.
• Assist crew members with labor tasks and support project productivity.
• Maintain safety and compliance with company policies on site.
